We are excited to announce the Maslanka and Alaskan Composer Festival June 18-21, 2015 at Thunder Mountain High School! For the main event on Saturday June 20th, conductor William Todd Hunt will lead the Taku Winds (formerly known as the Juneau Wind Ensemble) in a concert featuring the music of David Maslanka and Alaskan composers, Emerson Eads, Artemio Sandoval, Tyree Pini and our own William Todd Hunt! This concert also features local trombonist, Katy Giorgio, in David Maslanka's Concerto for Trombone and Wind Ensemble. Mr. Maslanka will be traveling to Juneau for this very special concert!

Additionally, we are excited to announce the following guest artists will be joining us!
        - Dr. Karl Paulnack, piano, Ithaca College of Music
        - Rhonda Rider, cello, The Boston Conservatory
        - Brian Calhoon, percussion, The Boston Conservatory
        - Dwayne and Caryn Corbin, percussion, Simpson University
